ROAD WORK SET TO BEGIN FRIDAY ON 116 STREET BETWEEN 68 AVENUE AND THE SOUTH CITY LIMITS On Friday, July 20, roadwork on 116 Street between 68 Avenue and the south City limits is scheduled to begin, weather permitting. The public is advised that traffic will be reduced to one lane, controlled by construction crews, at different times during construction and speed limits will be reduced. WORK TO INSTALL THE HAWKER WATERLINE ALONG 156 AVENUE BEGINS MONDAY Starting on Monday, July 23, contractors will begin work to install the Hawker Waterline along part of 156 Avenue in Clairmont in the Crossroads South area. The installation of the waterline will result in intermittent and partial road closures, lane reductions and speed reductions between 97 Street and Range Road 55. PiT Counts serve two important functions: they provide a current snapshot of the demographics and number of people experiencing homelessness in the city and enable an examination of changes in homelessness over time.
