The City of Grande Prairie supports the First Annual Grande Prairie Children’s Festival happening on May 25 and 26 downtown. The Festival is a successful recipient of the 2010 Arctic Winter Games Legacy Fund, an endowment fund created after the 2010 Games to bring new and exciting recreation, sport and cultural events for youth to the Grande Prairie Region.
