The Grande Prairie & District Burn Society was incorporated under the Societies Act of Alberta in August of 1988.

Their mandate is to bring awareness to the public on burn prevention through education.

They also exist to provide support to Burn Survivors in the Grande Prairie area.

The GP & District Burn Society provides funding and programs because they believe that preventable burn injuries are unacceptable to our community and acceptance of burn injury survivors by the public will ensure continued growth of a positive and caring community.
