The City of Grande Prairie is upgrading its Lawn Bowling Facility and invites residents to share their input.

Located in Muskoseepi Park, the facility has secured funds through the 2024 capital budget to make necessary upgrades that will replace the existing outdoor turf and update various amenities. Additionally, the City is exploring alternative activities and entertainment options, aside from lawn bowling, that can be used within the facility.

"The Lawn Bowling Facility is currently an underutilized community space that has the potential to serve as a recreational hub,” said City of Grande Prairie Mayor, Jackie Clayton. “I encourage residents to share their input and ideas on what you would like to see to help turn the facility into a space that can be enjoyed by all community members.”

Residents can share their thoughts and ideas for the Lawn Bowling Facility by participating in the online survey until May 9. The feedback collected will be used to inform City Administration on what improvements and upgrades are desired by the community.
