The Grande Prairie Composite High School is proud to announce Daniela Falaye, a Grade 12 student in the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme will be receiving the prestigious $60,000 Jim Dinning and Evelyn Main Chancellor's Scholarship to study at the University of Calgary beginning in September of 2022.

Falaye is the first Grande Prairie Composite High School (GPCHS) student to be awarded the University of Calgary's Chancellor's Scholarship. She was nominated by GPCHS for her outstanding academic achievements, community involvement and leadership.

I also want to say a special thank-you to my mom for all the support and sacrifices. I look forward to furthering my education at the University of Calgary in Neuroscience."
