Two-time Grammy award-winning artist Lauren Daigle hopes her latest single will remind listeners that they have a purpose.

'Be Okay' was released Friday and is one of 23 tracks to be featured on her upcoming full-length self-titled album, set to hit shelves this fall.

"You really wait for those moments on a record where it really sinks in and shatters your heart, and that was it for me," said Daigle in a post on Facebook.

Daigle wrote this song alongside her friend and fellow singer/songwriter, Ellie Holcomb. She says the hope is remind listeners they will be okay.

"Whatever hardship you may be going through – in joy or in sorrow, in strength and in weakness, there is a promise that we can hold on to that God works together good things for our good," said Daigle in thechristianbeat.org. "You may be feeling like you don’t have purpose on this earth, or you don’t know your reason for being here is, but I promise you it will all be okay."

The first ten songs from the new project came together back in May. Another thirteen songs will be released next month. The full-length album will hit shelves on September 8, 2023.
